The African American Studies Program consists of 8 faculty members and 1 full-time staff member, the administrative coordinator. Their positions are: a full time director, seven (7) faculty members, one (2) Adjunct Professors.

The Faculty Members of the African American Studies Program are diverse with a wide array of education, skills, knowledge and professional backgrounds. 1 full time Director, seven faculty members hold joint appointments: four (4) in History, one (1) in Sociology one (1) in Political Science and one(1) in Anthropology. Two (2) Adjunct Professors employed with the African-American Professors Program that teaches our gateway courses.
