Zora Neal Hurston
(Jan. 7, 1891 - Jan. 28, 1960)
Anthropologist, folklorist, and author. She is best known for her novel, "Their Eyes Were Watching God" (1937). She grew up in Eatonville, Florida, the first all-Black township to be incorporated in the US.
