Thesis: Une Île du Sucre: Preliminary Investigations into the Economic Activities of the Inhabitants of Les Portlands, Anse-Bertrand, Guadeloupe, French West Indies.

DISSERTATION RESEARCH/PROJECT:
My dissertation research will tentatively focus on the “King of England’s Soldiers” and group of maroons that lived in the Savannah River swamps from approximately 1782-1787. Pursuing this topic depends of the results of the preliminary fieldwork.
