Current Research Project(s)
Currently, I am working on a book-length project concerned with the disciplinary
and pragmatic consequences of identity politics in feminism's second wave.
My goal in this project is to show the "stakes" of a poststructural
critique of feminism for not only theories of gender, but also movement
practice.
In addition to the book project, I am also working on a journal-length
manuscript which offers various readings of Sojourner Truth's "A---'t
I a Woman." I use these readings to facilitate a broader discussion
concerning authenticity and the relationship(s) between experience, rhetoric,
and ethics.
