• Two courses in pre-1800 literature, chosen from ENGL 380-382, 400-410, 415, 420, or any of the following when content is pre-1800: 419, 429, 434, 437 (6 hours)
• Two courses in post-1800 literature, chosen from ENGL 383-386, 411-414, 416, 421-428,
   or any of the following when content is post-1800: 419, 429-430, 434, 437 (6 hours)
• ENGL 360 and ENGL 387 (6 hours)
• Two creative writing/professional writing courses chosen from ENGL 460, 462-470 (6 hours)
• One creative writing/professional writing course from ENGL 491-494 (3 hours)
