Dr. Van Horn obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Developmental Psychology
and comes to USC via the University of Washington. His research interests include assessing the effect
of classroom, school, and community contexts on children's development; and the application of multilevel models
and psychometric analyses to answer developmental questions.
