- All application materials must be furnished by the application deadline date (December 1 for the Clinical-Community Program) to be considered for admission in the fall of the same year. There are no mid-year admissions or consideration for part-time student status. It is the applicant's responsibility to make sure all materials arrive on time for review. Applicants must complete the Graduate School application and provide the supplemental materials specific to the degree program to which you are applying. Note that one may only apply to one graduate program at USC in a given year
- Obtain information by contacting Marti Brown in the psychology graduate admissions office. Please specify the psychology program in which you are interested.

- Graduate school application materials are available on-line at URL http://www.gradschool.sc.edu/
- Arrange to take the GRE's in the Fall (or earlier) and have your scores sent to the Graduate School at the University of South Carolina. This includes the subject area test, which is required by some of our programs. Historically, GRE scores hold up more applications than any other cause.
- Note that the web-based application on the USC Graduate School homepage includes a supplemental application for the specific degree program in addition to the main application to the Graduate School. Be sure to fill out the Supplemental Application
- Have transcripts of your undergraduate grades, your letters of recommendation and your GRE scores sent to the Graduate School. To facilitate timely submission, include an addressed and stamped envelope for each referee.
- Check on your application materials. The Graduate School and Psychology Department process many thousands of applications for the various programs each year. With this volume, things can get lost or misplaced. We recommend you check in with Ms. Brown by phone or e-mail to confirm that your materials have been received by the Graduate School and forwarded to the Psychology.
Department
Good luck in whatever program or endeavor you pursue. We appreciate your interest in our programs.
