Academic Organizations


American Sociological Association - The American Sociological Association (ASA) is dedicated to advancing sociology as a scientific discipline and profession. 

Southern Sociological Society - Established in 1935, The Southern Sociological Society is the main regional organization of sociologists in the South. 

National Science Foundation - The major independent U.S. government agency responsible for promoting science and engineering. Includes: NSF Sociology.

To access the online journals, you need to work from a pc linked to the university server or establish proxy connection from home.  Check the Library's Electronic Indexes

JSTOR sociology journals fully online (at least to 5 years back):
