Geography & Women's Studies
The Ph.D. program in Geography
requires that students enroll in at least one course outside the department
related to their field of study. If approved by the student's advisor,
Women's Studies courses can be used to fulfill this requirement. As geography
seeks to interpret and explain humans' spatial experience and activities,
a women's studies perspective can contribute to understanding the gendered
dimensions of such issues. A selection of Women's Studies courses
