About Columbia
Columbia is easy to reach, located at the intersection of three major interstate highways: I-26, I-20, and I-77. Both I-85 and I-95 are just a short drive away. We are approximately 20 minutes from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), which is serviced by seven commercial airlines and 90 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), US Airways east coast hub.
The city of Columbia, the state capital, is home to many outstanding attractions including the Columbia Museum of Art, the Koger Center for the Arts, the EdVenture Children’s Museum, and the Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Garden. The city is located where the Broad and Saluda Rivers come together to form the Congaree River, and its three rivers flanked by walking paths are popular with hikers and canoeists alike. Metropolitan Columbia was ranked among the Top 10 canoe towns in America by Paddler magazine!
