The CAS Rising Senior Award for Anthropology
2008
The College of Arts and Sciences sponsors the Rising Senior Award for students in the arts, humanities, and social sciences areas. The recipient receives an award that is distributed through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships during the recipient's senior year.

This award is for an outstanding undergraduate Anthropology
major who has gone beyond academic excellence and demonstrated participation in
anthropology or social issues outside the classroom.

DON ROSICK was awarded the Distinguished Archaeologist of the Year Award at the Annual Conference on South Carolina Archaeology in April 2008. Don was awarded this prestigious award by SCIAA Director Charles Cobb.
