Artist Statement:
My most recent work concentrates on the enigma and confusion associated with current events and political locations. This print contains a scanned object, a scanned drawing from the series "House of Cards", and a satellite image of Abu Ghurayb, one of Saddam Hussein's palaces, provided by DigitalGlobe. I do not intend to suggest literal cause and effect relationships between these elements but rather the complexity of social, political, and human issues through a controlled displacement of illusory space.
