I work in both still and motion images. My photographic work includes a photographic journey along historic US1 from its terminus at the Canadian border to its lower terminus in Key West, Florida. I also continue to explore the use of infrared imagery in fine art photography.
My motion picture work includes a documentary about the first village for freed slaves in South Carolina, shown at the National Freedom Day celebration in Hilton Head Island, SC in 2002. My current work in this medium includes a documentary of the 319th Transportation Company, a US Army Reserve unit, and their wartime experience in Vietnam. This documentary relies very heavily on images the soldiers made themselves, including Super 8 film footage made while in base camp and on the roads of Vietnam.
