10-11am: Question and answer session with graduate students and upper division studio majors, location TBA.

1-3pm: One on one with graduate students. MA or MFA students can sign up on a first come first serve basis with Dawn Hunter, rm 243 McMaster.

5:30pm: Pre-lecture reception outside of rm 239 McMaster.

6:30pm: Slide lecture on personal work, open to all in the USC community and the public.

Martha Armstrong is a painter “…who takes her task of representing the outdoor world seriously, and with a seismic verve,” said arts writer Jonathan Goodman in a recent publication on her work. She is represented by Walter Wickiser Gallery, New York, NY; Charles Campbell Gallery, San Francisco, CA; Gross McCleaf  Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; Oxbow Gallery, Northampton MA; and Watkins Gallery, Northampton, MA.

Her work is featured in numerous public and museum collections, most notably these include Allentown Museum of Art, Allentown, PA; Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO; Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA; Chemical Bank, New York, NY; and Taft Broadcasting Company of Pennsylvania, INC., PA.
