Areas of Specialization:

Juvenile Delinquency, Crime Prevention Programming, Gender and Offending, Family/Sibling Influences on Offending, Victimization.

Current Research and Interests: Dr. Fagan is currently involved in the Community Youth Development Study, a randomized controlled evaluation of the Communities That Care prevention system. The project assists communities in assessing levels of youth substance use and delinquency and selecting and implementing effective prevention programs to address their needs.

Other Activities:

Dr. Fagan teaches courses on Juvenile Delinquency and Criminological Theory. She has formerly conducted research at the Social Development Research Group (University of Washington), University of Queensland, and the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (University of Colorado).
