Policing, Organizational Behavior, Gangs, Organized Crime and Terrorism

 

Interests:

His recent research has focused on informal organizational approaches to managing risk through the study of police tactical units.

Other Activities:

Jeff Rojek earned his Ph.D. in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2005. He is a former police officer and has conducted many police-related research and evaluation projects. For the past four years he has conducted analysis of traffic stops patterns in relation to racial profiling for Missouri Attorney General’s Office. He teaches courses on law enforcement, terrorism, and organizations.
