Rising Senior Award

The College of Arts and Sciences sponsers the Rising Senior Award for Students in the arts, humanities, and social sciences areas.

The award is $500 to be distributed through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships in two increments: $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring. The award is not renewable.

The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice picks one outstanding senior based on specific criteria, including:

  • The student is a declared Criminal Justice major
  • The student has a culmulative GPA of 3.50 or higher
  • The student has completed at least 75 semester hours by the beginning of Spring term
  • The student maintains full-time enrollment (min. 12 hours) for the Fall and Spring semesters
