Dance Conservatory Financial Policies

*Policy For USC Dance Conservatory Tuition Discounts

1. Families with two or more children enrolled in classes at the University of South Carolina Dance Conservatory are to receive a 5% discount on class tuition, registration, and performance fees for each child.

2. Parents who perform services for University of South Carolina dance
productions are to receive partial or full discount for their child’s USC Dance
Conservatory class tuition, registration, and performance fees.

3. USC faculty and staff are to receive a 5 % discount on USC Dance Conservatory class tuition, registration and performance fees for their children.

4. USC students are to receive a 50% discount on USC Dance Conservatory class
tuition, and registration.

*Policy For Refund

1. Tuition will be refunded in full if student withdraws from classes within 2
weeks of semester commencement.

2. Partial tuition will be refunded based on classes taken, if student is ill or injured and unable to continue semester classes.

3. Tuition will not be refunded if student withdraws from classes after 2 weeks of
semester commencement for any reason other than injury, illness or other
extenuating circumstances.

*Policy for New Student Registration

1. All new students of the Conservatory are required to pay a $30 registration fee.

*Policy for Student Participation in Spring Performance

1. A performance fee of $100 is due spring semester to pay for costumes, rehearsal time and other performance expenses.
