As Director of the College of Arts and Sciences Human Resources office, Pam directs and oversees the human resource operations of the College. She supervises a professional staff including Ms. Catherine Pilot, Human Resource Manager and Ms. Susan Illingworth, Human Resource Manager. Their primary responsibility and function is to coordinate the employee management operations of the college regarding faculty, unclassified professional staff, classified staff, grant employees, and temporary faculty and staff appointments. Pam is also heavily involved in faculty recruitment, tenure and promotion, third-year reviews, sabbatical leaves, leaves of absence without pay, as well as staff classification and compensation. She conducts training for groups regarding policies and procedures for administrative, faculty and staff personnel activities of the College.

Pam has been employed at USC since 1971. She began her career as a Clerk/Steno II in the floater pool at the unbelievable salary of $4,243! At that time a majority of the administrative/student functions of the University were housed in Osborne with the exception of the Admissions Office. Her personal interests include travel, and reading historical and mystery novels. Spare time is also committed to her lovable Pug, Buckshot, who rules her household.
