Alumni and Friends Weekend at the Coast 2006
The College of Arts & Sciences celebrated its annual "Weekend at the Coast" from June 2nd to June 4th, 2006. Alumni and friends of the college were invited to relax and unwind at the Belle W. Baruch Institute for Marine and Coastal Sciences, located near Georgetown, South Carolina. They and their families experienced a unique adventure filled with breathtaking scenery, fascinating exploration and mouth-watering food. Throughout the course of the weekend the guests were treated to various workshops hosted by esteemed college faculty members, covering such topics as nature photography, beach and creek ecology, and Carolina cooking. All spaces for the weekend were filled and an exciting time was had by all.
