Professor Ross teaches core-curriculum courses in Latin, as well as the Intensive Grammar and Reading courses for Graduate students. She also teaches Medical and Scientific Terminology, which regularly attracts 45-50 students each semester. Professor Ross takes special interest in Cicero and Ovid. Professor Ross has a special interest in working with the interests of secondary programs in South Carolina, and is President of South Carolina Classical Association (SCCA) and a member of the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Foreign Language Teachers’ Association (SCFLTA). She is Director of Placement for Latin and participates in the South Carolina Conference on Foreign Language Placement and Curriculum (SCCFLPAC). Professor Ross has a special interest in computing technology and provides computer technical support for the faculty and staff of French & Classics. She also has been assisting the College of Arts and Sciences Computing Lab as an instructor for training faculty and staff in using the newly adopted email program.
