Patti Marinelli currently focuses her teaching and scholarly work on beginning –level Spanish language courses. As Coordinator of Spanish 121/122, she develops the course syllabi, tests, Blackboard websites and other materials for these courses. She is also the author of two college-level Spanish textbooks and is preparing the manuscript for a third. In her classes and in her textbooks, she helps students acquire practical skills in speaking Spanish and interacting with Spanish-speaking cultures. A seasoned veteran of USC, “Profesora Marinelli” has taught a wide range of language courses at the 100-, 200- and 300- level as well as courses in pedagogy.
