European Language Study Requirement. EURO majors are expected to acquire proficiency in a European language other than English. They must have proof of 6 hours of 300-level language coursework or the equivalent AND complete a study abroad experience in Europe, ideally in a region where the language of study is spoken, via a summer or semester program. Scholarships available.

| EURO students are in
charge of their major: together with the Program Director, they create a
program of study that examines a central theme, for example, terrorism;
borders, migration, and refugees; trends in popular culture; European Union
integration and expansion; regional history; or issues specific to a country
or region. |
