Learning GIS
The focus of the GIS training is on the technical operation and understanding of the various software and related data components; primarily associated with ESRI software. These are offered through free (to participants) instructor-lead short courses held in the Geography Department as well as ESRI's Virtual Campus web-based classes as well as digital and printed documentation from ESRI
The University offers a number of traditional credited classes that focus on various aspects of GIS. Most of these are taught in the Geography Department.
