ArcGIS 9.x: Handling Data

This 2.5 hour class will focus on using ArcGIS to manage, explore, edit, and process data with the ArcGIS software. The utility of ArcCatalog will be discussed, as well as all data structures supported in ArcGIS 8.x. Topics covered in this course include:

    * Creating new spatial data
    * Converting data to other formats
    * Using Internet available data
    * Projecting data
    * The Geodatabase model
    * Metadata
    * Editing spatial data
    * Working with tabular data
