ArcGIS 9.x: An Introduction

This 2.5 hour course will focus on providing the user an overview of the basic functionality of the ArcGIS software. Topics covered in this course include:

    * What can ArcGIS do for you?
    * Working with ArcGIS's Graphical User Interface (GUI)
    * Terminology and Data Types
    * Interaction between ArcCatalog and ArcMap
    * Building GIS Projects (___.mxds)
    * Using the online help
