The EcoReps at the University of South Carolina is a peer to peer leadership program educating and engaging students in sustainable living. Our mission is to make connections between individual behaviors and environmental stewardship through awareness, activities, and campus collaboration.
We currently have 15 EcoReps serving in residence halls and off campus apartment complexes. Our current projects include setting up Freecycling areas in residence halls and campaigning for more reusable silverware and the elimination of plastic bags in the dining halls. The EcoReps are also involved in campus-wide events like Sustainability Week, RecycleMania, and Earth Week.
