U. S. South, Modern America, Labor History

Currently, I am revising for publication a lecture on the 2004 presidential election that I gave at the University of Genoa in May. I am preparing to teach American history as a Fulbright Senior Lecturer at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey in 2006. Then, back to work on a book about the place of industrial labor in the American Southeast that focuses upon a climatic decade, the 1930s.
