The University of South Carolina Press has recently published Professor Robert Weyeneth's new book, Historic Preservation for a Living City: Historic Charleston Foundation, 1947-1997. In September, Dr. Weyeneth will deliver a keynote address on "The Power of Apology and the Process of Historical Reconciliation" at the annual meeting of the American Association for State and Local History in New Orleans.
