Hillel at USC

Hillel at the University of South Carolina is dedicated to providing a Jewish experience for students while they are away from home. It is an organization that offers a Jewish community on campus through weekly events and Shabbat dinners.

YAD (Young Adults Division)

YAD (a program of the Columbia Jewish Federation) aims to provide Jewish young professionals and USC graduate students in the Columbia area a venue for coming together, socializing, and networking. Our goals include:

  • To bring Jewish people in their 20s-30s together
  • To participate in social gatherings
  • To engage in community service events
  • To collaborate with other similar groups in the area for social/community service events (e.g. Charlotte, Charleston, Atlanta, etc)
YAD does not have a membership fee.
YAD maintains a Facebook page:

USC Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi

USC hosts the Gamma Chi Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Jewish Fraternity of North America, which was founded to provide opportunities for Jewish men seeking the best possible college and fraternity experience. We have maintained the integrity of our purpose by strengthening our ties to the Jewish community and serving as a link between high school and career. Alpha Epsilon Pi develops leadership for the North American Jewish community at a critical time in a young man's life.

Additional resources and links for Jewish and Jewish Studies students at USC forthcoming.
