BICOEE was established as part of the new Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) consortium. BICOEE is supported by the South Carolina Educational Lottery, as well as matching support from four sponsors of HSSC (the University of South Carolina, the Medical University of South Carolina, Palmetto Health, and the Greenville Hospital System).
