SCIENCE STUDIES EVENTS
THE IMPACT OF DNA EVIDENCE IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS
Margaret A. Berger
Brooklyn Law School
October 31, 2003
Friday, 12:30pm
Preston College Seminar Room
In this seminar discussion, two issues will be examined: (1) What impact
has DNA testing had on how crime laboratories operate? (2) In order to
facilitate solving crimes, should we put into databases the DNA of all
convicted felons, of everyone arrested, or of everybody living in the
United States? What are the policy implications?
