CALL FOR PAPERS

Submitted Papers:
Papers on any philosophical topic (ethics, politics, religion, science, logic, metaphysics, epistemology, language) are welcome. Papers should be designed for a presentation time of twenty minutes (about ten pages.)

Panels and Workshops:
Panel and workshop proposals are welcome. Possible topics include teaching philosophy, applied ethics, and cultural themes in philosophy. Proposals should specify issues to be discussed, format (including time to be allotted: 20, 40, or 60 minutes), and names of presenters, and should include abstracts of presentations. Proposals from "mixed" groups (i.e., those including both NCPS and SCSP members) are especially encouraged and may be sent to either of the addresses below.

Prize Essays:
Two prizes will be awarded. One is for the best paper authored by a graduate student and the other for the best paper authored by an undergraduate. Past winners are not eligible. If you fall into one of these categories, please submit three copies of your paper together with a 150-word abstract and an indication of your status.

A sufficient number of undergraduate submissions will allow for a session devoted to papers by undergraduates.
