DIRECTIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA
  • I-20 West from Florence, SC -- Turn off at SC 277 (Exit 73) toward Columbia. Stay on this freeway, which becomes Bull Street. Follow Bull Street until in intersects with Pendleton. Turn left onto Pendleton. Go one block, to intersection of Pendleton with Pickens. At the North-East corner of this intersection is an open-air faculty parking lot (Lot B3). This would be a good place to park. Follow campus map to Gambrell Hall. Gambrell Hall is building #51 on the campus map.
  • I-20 East from Augusta, GA -- Turn off at Exit 58 (US 1 toward West Columbia) and stay on highway which becomes Meeting Street, becoming Gervais Street after you cross the Congaree River. Turn right onto Pickens Street. Go 2 blocks to intersection of Pendleton with Pickens. At the North-East corner of this intersection is an open-air faculty parking lot (Lot B3). This would be a good place to park. Follow campus map to Gambrell Hall. Gambrell Hall is building #51 on the campus map.
  • I-26 East from Spartanburg, SC -- Follow US 126/76 toward downtown. Follow signs to Huger Street. At intersection of Huger and Gervais, turn left on to Gervais. Follow Gervais to Pickens. Turn right onto Pickens Street. Go 2 blocks to intersection of Pendleton with Pickens. At the North-East corner of this intersection is an open-air faculty parking lot (Lot B3). This would be a good place to park. Follow campus map to Gambrell Hall. Gambrell Hall is building #51 on the campus map.
  • I-26 West from Charleston, SC -- Turn onto I-77 North. Exit I-77 at Shop Rd. Take Shop Rd towards downtown, which becomes Assembly Street. Turn right onto Blossom, then left onto Pickens. Go 2 blocks to intersection of Pendleton with Pickens. At the North-East corner of this intersection is an open-air faculty parking lot (Lot B3). This would be a good place to park.   • I-77 from Charlotte, NC -- Turn off at SC 277 (Exit 18) toward Columbia. Stay on this freeway which becomes Bull Street. Follow Bull Street until it intersects with Pendleton. Turn left onto Pendleton. Go one block, to intersection of Pendleton with Pickens. At the North-East corner of this intersection is an open-air faculty parking lot (Lot B3).   • US 76/378 from Sumter -- US 76/378 will change from Sumter Highway to Garners Ferry Rd to Devine Street. Devine will intersect with Harden Street at Five Points. Turn right onto Harden and next left onto Greene Street. At the intersection of Greene and Pickens, turn right. Go one block to intersection of Pendleton with Pickens. At the North-East corner of this intersection is an open-air faculty parking lot (Lot B3). This would be a good place to park. Follow campus map to Gambrell Hall. Gambrell Hall is building #51 on the campus map.
