Bryan is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in American Politics and Research Methodology. He received his B.S. from Appalachian State University. His teaching and research interests focus primarily on public opinion, political behavior, and political psychology. Recent work has addressed topics such as political participation in primary elections as well as the dynamics of emotion and political disagreement in social networks.
