The Graduate School
The Graduate School at the University of South Carolina provides a
wealth of information for students. There are many fellowship and
scholarship opportunities available through the Graduate School.
The Graduate School also sponsors many programs throughout the semester
such as the Friday Forum which is a series of lunch meetings and
discussions relating to various topics of interest to graduate students
such as choosing a major professor, activities in the Columbia area,
managing stress, and many others. The Graduate School also
provides mini-workshops about such things as dissertation and grant
writing; Graduate Student Day where graduate students from various
colleges and departments present their research in a competitive
environment; and other activities that are jointly sponsored with the Graduate Student Association,
