Lectures, Colloquia, Workshops
Throughout
the
academic year, the Department sponsors and co-sponsors a variety of
lectures, colloquia, and workshops. The department’s Political Science
Research Workshop provides a regular forum for faculty, invited
scholars, and
graduate students to present and discuss research. In addition,
the
Department brings to the campus distinguished speakers for particular
events
such as Constitution Day, and often co-sponsors external speakers,
workshops,
and seminars with other units in the University, including other
departments,
the Walker Institute of International and Area Studies, the
Contemporary
Classics Initiative, and the Moore School of Business and USC Law
School.
