  • Where: Gazes Auditorium, MUSC, Charleston (click here for a map)

A number of scientists are stopping in South Carolina on their way back to The United Kingdom and Australia from the Cognitive Neuroscience Meeting in New York City, enticed by the nascent MUSC-USC Brain Imaging Center of Excellence. We are organizing an impromptu Symposium on Friday April 15th at Gazes Auditorium, which is located on the corner of Doughty Street and Courtenay Drive in Charleston. In conjunction with this Symposium we are also doing some scanning development on the Saturday and Sunday following (4/16 and 4/17), and possibly on Thursday (4/14). Subject to space in the MRI suite, all are welcome to join in these sessions. Please let Chris Rorden (chris@mricro.com) know if you plan to attend the scanning sessions.

Since we are providing lunch, it will also help to let Chris know if you are attending the Friday talks. Although this is being planned and executed at very short notice, this is a great opportunity to listen to a top quality slate of talks on MRI imaging, as well as the opportunity to develop collaborative imaging projects and/or learn about imaging. The Schedule will include 13 talks:

This event is sponsored by the South Carolina Lottery Brain Imaging Center of Economic Excellence, The Departments of Psychology and Communication Sciences and Disorders at USC, and the Center for Advanced Imaging Research at MUSC.
