Dr. Diane R. Follingstad

Dr. Follingstad, a Professor and ABPP in Forensic Psychology, earned her Ph.D. from the University of
Colorado in 1974. Dr. Follingstad specializes in the areas of:
- psychology and law
- physical violence in adult relationships
- psychological aggression
- victimology
- adult therapy and diagnostics
- psychology of women
Since retiring from the University of South Carolina, Dr. Follingstad has moved to an Endowed Chair at the Center for Research on
Violence Against Women at the University of Kentucky. As of July 1, 2008, Dr. Follingstad's home will be in the Department of Psychiatry at the
Unviersity of Kentucky.
