Students in the Clinical-Community Psychology Program at USC have access to valuable supporting facilities both on and off campus.
On-campus facilities include:
- The Department of Psychology's own Psychological Services Center, run as a training clinic
- A Graduate Student Microcomputer Lab in the Psychology building with twenty Pentium 4 personal computers networked to the university servers.
- Computer services - Students at USC currently enjoy free computer time and can register for individual computer accounts for the University network.
- Campus libraries, including a large main library and several specialized libraries (e.g., law, medical, business, etc.). Most library services are now available on-line.
Program faculty members have relationships with many state agencies and community organizations located off campus in the Columbia area. These relationships are often used to support graduate training through off-campus practicum experiences, assistantship activities, and access for research projects. These sites include:
- Community and residential facilities for emotionally disturbed children
- Drug and alcohol abuse treatment centers
- Institutional programs for individuals with disabilities
- Juvenile correctional institutions
- Local hospitals
- Mental health centers
- Social services agencies
