Dr. Rosemarie M. Booze studies neurodevelopmental disorders including the effects of drug usage during pregnancy. She is interested in the long-term developmental effects of drugs such as amphetamine, nicotine and cocaine, and her work has implications for ADHD. Her research is also making important contributions to the neural effects of exposure to the HIV virus and cocaine usage on the brain (e.g., Tat protein production) and behavior.

| Dr. John E. Richards is interested in the development of sustained attention in young infants with other emphases on study of extended fixations to television programs in infants. He is using state-of-the-art EEG and ERP methods to examine saccade planning and is incorporating MRI technology in his research.
