Psi Chi Membership Requirements

In order to qualify to be a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Completion of at least 3 semesters of college
2. Completion of 9 semester hours of psychology
3. Registration for major or minor standing in psychology or for a program psychological in nature which is equivalent to such standings
4. Overall cumulative gpa of 3.0 and rank in upper 35% of their class (soph/jr/sr standing). Must demonstrate superior scholarship in psychology courses of at least 3.0. Psi Chi accepts the policy of the institution regarding courses
5. For graduate students, an average grade of "B" or better in all graduate courses, including psychology
