Wayne Kannaday
 Wayne Kannady received his MA from the Department of Religious Studies in 1994. He had previously attended seminary and was ordained in 1979. Kannady also served Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church in West Columbia from 1979-1988 and as S. C. Synod Interim Pastor while attending graduate school at USC. Currently he serves as Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Newberry College. Wayne has kept his connections with USC as he is married to Helen Doerpinghaus, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Studies here.
