Rutledge College on the historic Horseshoe at the University of South Carolina

Rutledge Chapel is located in the center of Rutledge College at the top of the Historic Horseshoe of the University of South Carolina. The large center doors open into the foyer of the chapel. Stairs to the right and left go up to the choir and organ loft. The stairs to the right then continue up to the third floor where the offices of the Department of Religious Studies are located.
Dimensions
The foyer is 38 feet wide and 10 feet deep.
The sanctuary is 46 feet wide and 36 feet up to the steps of the dais.
The dais is 30 feet wide and 16 feet deep.
Aisle is 50 feet long
Capacity
Rutledge Chapel has a seating capacity of 200 in the sanctuary. Seating is not permitted in the choir and organ balcony at the rear of the chapel, by order of the Building Inspector.
