  • the American Religion Data Archive collects quantitative data sets for the study of American religion.
  • The Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality at Vanderbilt Divinity School.
  • The Center for the Study of Religion at UCLA. Go to "links" in the sidebar and then to "General Resources for the study of Religion" to find two useful links for a number of web resources in the study of religions.

  • The Jewish History Resource Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

  • Lifaafaa , an award winning site of Gene R. Thursby, Associate Professor, University of Florida with extensive links relating to the study of Religion.
  • The Nag Hammadi Library is a collection of 13 ancient codices containing over 50 texts discovered in upper Egypt in 1945. The library includes primary Gnostic scriptures: the Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Philip, and the Gospel of the Truth. The discovery and translation of this collection has caused amajor re-evaluation of early Christian history and the nature of Gnosticism.
