Course Description
This course aims to further the student's understanding of the history, traditions, authors, and geography of the Hebrew Bible with a more in depth study of the text. More an analytical study of the Hebrew Bible than an examination of one's personal beliefs, this class will focus on current and past scholarship of the socio-historical background of the world of ancient Israel and Judah.
