General Major: 8 Religious Studies courses (24 hours) at 300-level or higher. At least two courses must be taken from each of Groups A and B and at least one course from Group C. Some of these courses can satisfy some of the general education requirements.

Intensive Major: 10 Religious Studies courses (30 hours) at or above the 300-level. At least two courses must be taken from each of the three groups (A,B, & C). RELG 498 must be taken as one of the required courses in Group C.

Minimum grade: For courses to count toward degree requirements, a grade of C or higher must be recieved.

B.A. with Distinction: Students who fulfill the requirements for an intensive major and graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.75 in major courses and 3.5 overall will be awarded their degree "With Distinction in Religious Studies" upon graduation.
