Honors students and those wishing to graduate with Distinction who wish to write their Thesis or final paper under my direction are very welcome to contact me. I have in the past advised many students, working on a variety of topics in sociology, so I am more than happy to consider your suggestions. FYI, here is a brief set of thesis guidelines [] on how to write a thesis proposal and prepare your research. 

Also, although I have only rarely taught honors courses, students in the honors program are welcome to sign up for my courses and to consult me for additional assistance. 

I have written many letters of recommendation for undergraduate and graduate students for a variety of objectives, such as grant requests, fellowship nominations, and job applications. Contact me for more information. 

I welcome suggestions and questions from graduate students to do work on a masters thesis, doctoral dissertation, or other research projects. I also welcome new students from other universities. Please consult the Department website and the webpages of the Graduate School for general information

Should stduents wish to submit a proposal or other written work, please follow the citation style and reference format of the ASA (see ASA reference style).
