Offering 39 undergraduate majors, the College of Arts and Sciences gives students more options than any other college within the University. Courses of study encompass the humanities, the social sciences, and the fine and performing arts.
Through the
College's numerous academic departments and
interdisciplinary programs, students have a choice of these
undergraduate majors:

| Students in the College of
Arts and Sciences may double major by completing the collegiate
and departmental requirements in each of two departments. This
will include at least 48 hours of major course work under one
of the following options: |

College |
| Students who qualify for participation
in the South Carolina Honors
College program often choose to pursue a major in the College
of Arts and Sciences. Our diverse and flexible curriculum allows
students to take full advantage of the academic opportunities
in both Colleges. Arts and Sciences faculty teach honors courses
and serve as advisors for South Carolina Honors College students.
